Summary assessment following an examination by the dentist with digital panoramic X-ray, intraoral scanner and smile analysis.
He can then present you with the different options to replace one, several or all of the missing teeth; reconstruct worn teeth and/or improve the appearance of your smile.
All in consideration of your expectations and your budget. Financing options will be presented to you.
A complete and thorough examination will be required before starting treatment.
This is the data collection following the review of the medical history, the extra-oral examination, the digital radiographs, the intra-oral examination of the hard tissues (bones and teeth) and the soft tissues (gums, mucosa and oropharynx).
– Cleaning and scaling: Cleaning, also called prophylaxis, consists of polishing the teeth with an abrasive paste to remove dental plaque, stains that cause discoloration and cavities. Scaling consists of using curettes and an ultrasonic device to remove the tartar that accumulates on the teeth and under the gum to prevent gum disease (periodontitis) and bad breath.
– Pit and fissure sealant: This preventive treatment aims to seal the permanent posterior teeth as soon as they erupt with a fluid composite resin to prevent the formation of cavities.
– Simple tooth extraction: It consists of removing a tooth using an elevator and forceps in an atraumatic manner.
– Complex tooth extraction: Surgical approach that requires bone removal and root section if necessary.
– Cyst removal, hyperplastic tissue
– Abscess drainage
Its objective is to devitalize a tooth using manual and rotary files in order to eliminate the pulp tissue, disinfect the canals located in the roots and fill everything with gutta percha and bioceramic cement. When the tooth is fairly compromised, it is recommended to cover the cusps with a ceramic restoration or a crown to prevent the risk of fracture.
– Free gingival graft: Minor surgery that aims to thicken the attached gingival band in order to prevent receding.
– Connective tissue graft: Minor surgery that aims to cover a root exposed following receding.
– Allogenic gingival graft: Minor surgery that aims to cover one or more loose teeth with the help of sterilized human tissue. The procedure is similar to connective tissue grafting.
Biomimetic and aesthetic dentistry is the art and science of restoring damaged teeth with restorations that mimic living tissue in appearance, function and strength.
The holistic dentist focuses on the connection between oral health and overall health. Oral diseases impact overall health and the connection between the two is supported by science. The holistic dentist uses mercury-free restorations (amalgam), non-toxic and biocompatible materials.
ENA HRI BIO FUNCTION composite does not contain compomer, Bis-GMA or bisphenol A, does not release any nanoparticles and is highly wear-resistant. Ceramic and zirconia restorations are inert and do not cause allergies.
We use a rigorous protocol when removing an amalgam in order to reduce the absorption of mercury vapors.
Do you want to improve the appearance of your smile and maximize your comfort? Are you looking for the feeling and appearance of your natural teeth?
Find a denture that fits your mouth with removable dentures with or without implants.
The use of plasma, collected by centrifugation following a blood test, promotes bone regeneration and soft tissue regeneration.
Designed with specific surfaces that promote their bonds with the bone and gum. The Bioblock concept is unique and prevents bone loss around the implant by sealing at the gum level and hermetic adaptation of the abutment to the implant.
The placement of an implant (artificial titanium screw that replaces the root of a natural tooth and which has the property of welding to the bone) is done with the help of a 3D surgical guide. After exposing the site, biological drilling is done at low speed without irrigation so as not to overheat the bone and recover it which will be used if necessary to graft bone mixed with PRGF. The implant is inserted and the gum is sutured. A healing period of three to six months is necessary for the integration process. The next step is to screw an abutment onto each implant that will serve as a link to the restoration or prosthesis.
After screwing one or more abutments onto the implant(s). Following a digital impression of the abutments with transfers, it is possible to manufacture a crown, bridge or complete prosthesis in the laboratory that will be fixed on the implant abutments or a support bar.
Used to regenerate bone to allow the implant to be placed.
Occasionally, patients may experience jaw pain (temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain), headaches, TMJ crackling, premature tooth wear, bruxism, or clenching of teeth. Wearing a custom-made, balanced occlusal splint may be beneficial in relieving or reducing signs and symptoms.
Proven medical technique used in children and adults to reduce anxiety and relax the patient. Commonly called the clown nose, this gas mixed with oxygen is very safe. Recovery occurs in a few minutes and the patient can function normally afterwards and drive his car.
